I describe how my love of art started at junior school, but my art career only flourished later in life when my youngest child was a baby.

This put me in the mood to experiment. It was no longer about whether the painting worked, but about having fun as I tried a new material.

Recently I've been creative with painting edges. White isn't always the best colour, and choosing an alternative adds a different dimension.
